Breeders usually keep a track of the progesterone levels of the dog and its peak post ovulation. Once the ovulation is complete the eggs go through a maturation period to become fertile for two days. After this process, chilled or frozen semen of previous champion breed dogs or any dog breed of choice can be inseminated to fertilize the eggs. On average 63 days later the pregnant female American Bully dog will give birth to four to eight American Bully puppies.

Just like most bully breeds, the American Bully breed also has short, smooth, stiff, and glossy coats in various colors of black, white, blue, tan, brown, and more. American Bullies have a broad skull, and quite pronounced cheek-muscle with high set ears that can be either cropped or uncropped. They have a well-defined jawline, showcasing its biting power on the lower jaw and slightly loosened lips. They have a medium muzzle, rounded at the top and squared below the eyes, sitting on a heavy neck. Even though they have a short back and small ingrown tails, they have wide forelegs and strong and muscular shoulder blades, and wrinkly skin gives them their intimidating look.

The Extreme American Bully is an exaggerated version of the Standard American Bully with more mass, girth, and bone density making them heavier. They don't have any specific height or weight as it is totally dependent on the bully breeds that have been mixed together.

An American Bully, like its pitbull relatives, can run at an average speed of 25 - 30 mph (40 - 48 kph). The American Bully breed was developed in the United States to become the ultimate family pet dog. American Bullies are excellent guard dogs as they are confident and have their own personality. The coat colors vary according to the parent breed and are generally of various colors sometimes even multicolored. Their ears could be cropped or uncropped, both are accepted.

American Bullies are easy to maintain or look after as they can become quite independent with proper training given they are from a high-quality breed. If you wish to own an American Bully as your beloved pet for your family with children or not, it's an excellent choice. But they do come with certain complications and problems as well. American Bullies could be difficult to own depending on the country you live in as they are banned in several European countries, several states of the USA, and Oceania (New Zealand and Australia) due to similar appearance to American Pit Bull terriers and is often confused between the two. Make sure that they are legal to own or breed in your country.

An American Bully puppy can be quite expensive and one pup could cost anything between $2000 - $7000 depending on their parent breeds and their purpose, i.e. the cost of a puppy from a champion breed will be higher as it would become a show dog than that of a Bully pit pup used to breed with other dogs. The cost also depends on the type of Bully breed pup which varies according to its size as a full-grown adult dog.
