Cursive letters can be a challenge for younger children, so why not boost their confidence with these fun worksheets?
While learning how to type is increasingly popular in schools, the old-fashioned method of learning cursive writing using worksheets is a great way to get kids moving forward with their literary education. With this activity sheet, third-grade students can easily learn how to write a letter 'L' in cursive, and use their skills to create full sentences using cursive handwriting.
Kids will start by practising how to write a cursive letter 'L', with help from traced letters on the page. They will then be encouraged to use their cursive writing abilities to trace the sentence 'Lily loves to eat lemon lollipops'. This will help kids understand how each of these letters is used in a sentence, knowledge they can apply to the rest of their writing.
