Cursive handwriting is an important skill for third-grade children to get to grips with.

These exciting illustrated worksheets offer a simple and effective way to learn the cursive alphabet, that allows kids to engage with, and write words themselves. Here, students will be shown the letter 'P' in cursive, and with the help of tracing guidelines, they can use a pencil or pen to practice their cursive 'P' formation.

After learning how to write a cursive 'P' by itself, kids can then put their cursive writing skills to the test by writing out the sentence 'Penelope's pear was pretty perfect' using measured guidelines.
