61 Important Joan Of Arc Quotes From 'The Maid of Orléans'

Joan Of Arc quotes are inspirational.

Joan of Arc was born in 1412, in Domremy, Duchy of Bar, Kingdom of France.

Joan of Arc is considered to be a hero in France and was canonized by the Roman Catholic Church as a Saint. Her courage and bravado played a pivotal part in leading the French Army to victory over the British in the Lancastrian Phase of the Hundred Years War.

Joan of Arc is said to have heard divine voices and visions which instructed her to support Charles VII and attempt to retrieve France from England's domination during the Hundred  Years War. On orders of King Charles, she was sent to the Siege of Orleans which was lifted shortly after her arrival there. She was later captured by a group of French nobles who were in allegiance with the English and was put on trial where she was charged guilty for multiple reasons. She was finally burnt at stake at the young age of 19.
