Little kids bring us all kinds of treasures throughout the year, from mouldy acorns to random bits of glitter found on the street. So we thought it’d be fun to imagine the 12 Days of Toddler Christmas, and the gifts they might give. 

And a 1, 2, 3, 4…

On the First Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
A part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Second Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Two filthy gloves,
And a part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Third Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Three bent sticks,
Two filthy gloves,
And a part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Fourth Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Four broken toys,
Three bent sticks,
Two filthy gloves,
And a part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Fifth Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
FIVE CORN SNACK RINGS! (Mushed)
Four broken toys,
Three bent sticks,
Two filthy gloves,
And a part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Sixth Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Six grapes a-splattered,
FIVE CORN SNACK RINGS! (Mushed)
Four broken toys,
Three bent sticks,
Two filthy gloves,
And a part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Seventh Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Seven stones a-scattered,
Six grapes a-splattered,
FIVE CORN SNACK RINGS! (Mushed)
Four broken toys,
Three bent sticks,
Two filthy gloves,
And a part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Eighth Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Eight acorns mouldering,
Seven stones a-scattered,
Six grapes a-splattered,
FIVE CORN SNACK RINGS! (Mushed)

On the Ninth Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Nine bogies dangling,
Eight acorns mouldering,
Seven stones a-scattered,
Six grapes a-splattered,
FIVE CORN SNACK RINGS! (Mushed)
Four broken toys,
Three bent sticks,
Two filthy gloves,
And a part-eaten bit of fir tree.

On the Tenth Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Ten pens a-leaking,
Nine bogies dangling,
Eight acorns mouldering,
Seven stones a-scattered,
Six grapes a-splattered,
FIVE CORN SNACK RINGS! (Mushed)
Four broken toys,
Three bent sticks,
Two filthy gloves,

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas, my toddler gave to me…
Eleven dirty nappies,
Ten pens a-leaking,

Eleven dirty nappies,
Ten pens a-leaking,
