Scott Rechsteiner is better known by the ring name Scott Steiner having been born on July 29, 1962.
Scott Steiner is an American professional wrestler now signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). During his time in WWE, Scott Steiner underwent a foot slip, which hindered his ability to fulfill goals inside the ring.
The Steiner Brothers are one of those teams. The brothers started teaming together in 1989 when Scott entered WCW. During their run, The Steiner Brothers strived in every major pro wrestling promotion on the planet, catching World Tag Team Championships in WCW, WWE, and New Japan Pro Wrestling. On July 28, 1995, The Steiner Brothers made their start-up in Extreme Championship Wrestling at Orange County. Besides his older brother Rick as 'The Steiner Brothers', Scott Steiner accepted contracts with World Wrestling Federation and wrestled for Jim Crockett Promotions.
Before uniting his brother as one half of the legendary Steiner tag team, Scott Steiner halted into the wrestling business as a small Indianapolis-based World Wrestling Association member.
The Steiner Brothers were planning to wrestle Team 3D in a 'dream match' at Slammiversary, but Scott Steiner was replaced with Road Warrior Animal after suffering a severe throat injury. Scott Steiner began a feud with Kurt Angle after amounting to him the NWA World title at Against All Odds.
Scott Steiner is perhaps best known for his time in World Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and wrestled for Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP).
Scott Steiner would go on to nearly associate with Buff Bagwell and feud with his brother Rick throughout 1998. In November of 2000, Scott Steiner fulfilled his capability by defeating Booker T to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Scott Steiner was expelled from his WWE contract in 2004. He got his first victory in the WWA World Heavyweight Championship against The Great Wojo. Scott Steiner went on backbreaking work out to retain such a jaw-dropping body for his wrestling career.
Scott Steiner became one of the central members of Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff's Blood faction. Scott Steiner won several tag team titles like WCW world tag team championship, Impact World Tag Team Championship, WGP tag team championship, and WWF tag team championship.
In late 1999, Scott Steiner underwent a back injury and was eliminated from the action. On an episode of WCW Monday Nitro in Houston, Texas, Scott Steiner gave up an emotional speech in which he declared his retirement from professional wrestling. In January 2001, he became a central piece of RIC Flair's Magnificent Seven faction.
The Steiner brothers joined the World Wrestling Federation and left WCW after being lowballed on their contract revival by WCW head Bill Watts. In an episode of Raw in New York in 1993, the Steiner brothers upheld their title against Quebecers in a 'Province Of Quebec Rules Match.' The match stopped when a hockey stick was thrown into the ring by the manager of the Quebeces. When the referee saw Scott clasping the illegal weapon, he disqualified the brothers and awarded the WWF Tag Team Championship to the Que beces. Scott Steiner gained revenge by beating Pierre in singles match the following week on Raw.
In November 1992, the Steiner brothers left WCW, with Scott withdrawing from the WCW World Television Championship. They signed a contract for their television debut at a conference on WWF Prime Time Wrestling on 21 December 1992.
During his time as WCW World Champion, Eric Bischoff praised Scott Steiner's skills and said that he liked what Scott Steiner did in the ring, that his abilities were amazing, and that he was volatile in and out of the ring. Scott joined the nWo at SuperBrawl in 1998 and attacked his brother Rick while they were defending the tag team championship against the Outsiders. Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell joined forces, who called himself Buff Daddy, named after rapper Puff Daddy.
Many fans who saw them compete in a dream match against Team 3D in 2007 also fondly recall the brief Steiner Brothers reunion. Scott Steiner is now mostly known as Big Poppa Pump.
(Scott Steiner fans had come to love the change that happened to this wrestler)
With creative maneuvers like the Frankensteiner and the Steiner Screwdriver, Scott Steiner constantly left an impression on anyone who watched him perform.
On August 15, 1989, a new tag team was formed by Scott Steiner with Jed Grundy, and on 18 February, they ousted world tag team CWA champions Robert Fuller and Jimmy Golden.
