Eden

The name Eden is taken from the Hebrew language and the meaning of Eden is taken from the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden is a heavenly location written about in the Holy Bible, which was a utopia and a paradise and was the place where God first placed the first man and woman - Adam and Eve. However, when they disobeyed his rules and ate the forbidden fruit (after being tempted by the wicked serpent) God threw them out of paradise and forced them to live on Earth. Eden is known for being the garden where the Tree of Knowledge was located. There were plentiful piles of food, trees and plants were always in blossom and all the animals got along, despite their different places on the food chain. It is also known for being a place where there was no diseases or sickness and no wrongdoing or coldbloodedness. According to the Book of Ezekiel, the Garden of Eden was discovered in the area we now know as Lebanon. The name Eden can also be a variant of the names Edith and Aidan. One famous figure with the name is Broadway star Eden Espinosa, who is known for her performances in 'Wicked' and 'Rent'.
