When students reach third grade, they are usually ready to take their writing level up a notch.

By learning cursive handwriting in particular, children have the opportunity to learn to write using joined-up letters that they may not have used before. This worksheet is focused on writing the letter 'M' in cursive. Students can use a pen, pencil or crayon to outline the shapes of the individual cursive letters.

They can then continue practising as they continue along the line. These worksheets are especially helpful as they each include a cursive writing sentence at the bottom, that repeatedly uses the cursive letter in question. With this exercise, kids will get the chance to write the sentence 'Mia discovered a magical map', which repeats the cursive 'M', by tracing the words on the page. These worksheets are simple yet effective and encourage kids to engage with their education.
