About the event

In this unique event in the City of London, you'll have a whole mile of awesome art, music and culture to explore. Culture Mile, which stretches between Farringdon and Moorgate, is transforming the Square Mile into a centre of culture and fun. With loads of events taking place throughout the 100 days, you'll find yourself coming back for more throughout the summer.


Get ready for an explosion of music this weekend at the Barbican, where music-lovers will be able to explore new sounds and unique venues with the Sound Unbound festival. It's a celebration of music from the Middle Ages all the way up to the present day. The festival will host more than 100 short concerts in over 20 unusual venues in the area. Get involved in musical installations, watch a film accompanied by a live orchestra, be hypnotised by a minimalist masterpiece and loads more.


You'll be discovering new sounds and reminiscing about familiar ones in this relaxed weekend festival. Whether classical, contemporary, experimental or jazz, each artist is guaranteed to blow you away.
