  • After the success of May 2020’s online concert, Kings of Broadway will be recreated live on London's West End stage for one evening only.

Don’t miss the chance to see a host of stars from the West End stage coming together to celebrate the iconic music of the three legendary Broadway composers Stephen Sondheim, Jule Styne and Jerry Herman. Live on stage at the Palace Theatre, Kings of Broadway is on for one night only and follows on from a successful online concert held in May.

Featuring the best musical theatre talent, many of the concert’s original stars are performing in the Kings of Broadway production at the Palace Theatre, including Alex Young, Damian Humbley, Caroline Sheen, Ana Richardson, Elliott Griffiths, Fiona O’Carroll, Deborah Crowe, Jamie Parker, Emma Kingston, Jenna Russell, Jordan Lee Davies, Janie Dee, Laura Tebbutt, Lucy Schaufer, Lee Thomas, Michael Xavier, Michael Colbourne and Nadim Naaman. Plus, they will be joined on stage by even more stars of the West End, including Jason Carr, Soophia Foroughi, Siubhan Harrison, Harrison Knights, Bonnie Langford, Carl Man, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Sally Ann Triplett, Kayi Ushe, Tracie Bennett, Danielle Fiamanya, Hadley Fraser, Sharan Phull, Zizi Strallen and Tosh Wanogho- Maud.

The cast will sing numbers from shows including Mack & Mabel, Follies, Company, Funny Girl, Dear World, plus much more. At the end of the evening, expect a very special performance of Sunday from the much-loved musical Sunday in the Park with George. The must-see concert will be accompanied by musical director Alex Parker and with sound design by composer Paul Smith. One of the best London shows this festive season!

What to know before you go

  • This London concert is 2 hours long with a 20-minute interval.
  • The age recommendation of Kings of Broadway is eight years and upwards.  
  • Cast member appearances are subject to change and may be affected by situations outside of the producers' control.
  • The Palace Theatre opens one hour before the start of the performance.
  • The venue is wheelchair accessible. The access entrance to the Palace Theatre is through a side exit door on Shaftesbury Avenue. The stalls have wheelchair spaces.
  • Toilets are available on all levels. There is a fully adapted unisex toilet at the rear of the stalls, and the neighbouring Adelphi Theatre has disabled toilet facilities for use by arrangement.
  • The theatre has a Williams Sound assistance system. Headsets are available.
  • Guide dogs and hearing dogs are permitted in the Palace Theatre. It’s advisable for your comfort to book a seat on the end of a row. Alternatively, there’s a dog sitting service provided by the team at the theatre.
  • Snacks and refreshments are available at the theatre's bars, which are located in the Dress Circle and Grand Circle.
  • There are a variety of places to eat in the area. La Bodega Negra has a good pre-theatre menu and it is right next to the theatre. Or take a stroll around Covent Garden where you will find Bill’s, Seven Dials Market, Homeslice Neal’s Yard and Masala Zone. All are family-friendly restaurants.

Getting there

  • Leicester Square station, serving the Northern and Piccadilly lines, is the nearest Tube station to the Palace Theatre. It’s a six-minute walk away.
  • Charing Cross railway and Tube station, serving Southeastern rail and the Northern and Bakerloo lines, is an 11-minute walk away.
  • Bus routes 24, 29 and 176 stop nearby.
  • You can save 50% on parking charges by using the Q-Park Theatreland Parking Scheme. You just need to validate your parking ticket at the box office. The closest Q-Park is Q-Park Chinatown on Newport Place, just a three-minute stroll away. Alternatively, the NCP car park on Brewer Street is just a six-minute walk away from the Palace Theatre.
