Theodore Miller Edison was an American inventor, environmentalist, and businessman who was the son of Mina Miller Edison and Thomas Alva Edison.

Theodore Miller Edison was born on July 10, 1898, at Glenmont. He was born when Thomas Edison age was 51. Initially, Theodore studied at the Haverford School in Pennsylvania and Montclair Academy in New Jersey. Finally, he joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he got his degree in physics in 1923. Theodore was the only college graduate from the Edison family. After graduation, he joined his father's company and worked as an ordinary lab assistant.
Later, Theodore worked hard and became the company's technical director of research and engineering. Much later, Theodore established Calibron Industries Inc., his own company, and constructed his laboratory in West Orange, Essex County. He has more than 80 patents in his name. Theodore married a Vassar College graduate, Anna Maria Osterhout, in 1925.
He turned into the Vietnam War's opponent, a supporter of Zero Population Growth, and an ardent environmentalist in his later years. Theodore lived with his wife Anna Maria Osterhout in West Orange till his death on November 24, 1992.
Theodore Miller Edison did inherit the interests of his father, Thomas Edison. He exhibited an early interest in science and performed many experiments from a young age, and Theodore Miller Edison was also called the 'little laboratory assistant' by Thomas Edison.
