If you have tuned into the old Disney movie called 'The Jungle Book', featuring Mowgli and his animal friends, then you must have seen Kaa, the snake who hypnotizes our young protagonist. Did you know that Kaa is a boa constrictor (and no, they have zero hypnotizing powers)?

The boa constrictor has several subspecies, but the most famous of them is the red-tailed boa, also called the long tail boa or the common boa.

It may have multiple names, but it is known for far more!

Though it is not as big as many of its reptilian relatives, does not mean it lacks the vigor and strength required to thrive in the dense forests where it finds its home.

The boa constrictor is also known for its enormous grip, which it uses to wrap itself about its prey, where it slowly crushes its prey to suffocate it to death.
