Charlie Culberson is an American baseball infielder playing Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers.

He started his professional career as a baseball player when the San Francisco Giants took him in 2007 when he was in high school in the Major League Baseball Draft. After being a successful star player in the minor leagues for the Richmond Flying Squirrels and the Fresno Grizzlies, he made his MLB debut with the San Francisco Giants in 2012.

Charlie Culberson has a very successful career in the major leagues and has been a part of some big names like the Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, and the Texas Rangers. In 2017 during the NLCS games, he learned about his grandmother's death just before the first game.

Charlie started his professional baseball career with the San Francisco Giants. They had drafted him in the MLB Draft 2007 from his high school. In the baseball season of 2011, he played for the Richmond Flying Squirrels, and with ten home runs under his belt, he was voted the seventh best second base prospect. In 2012 he made his entry into the MLB.

In 2012 Charlie Culberson was traded to the Colorado Rockies; in 2013, he hit his debut MLB home run. He was with the Rockies for 47 games and two seasons.

In 2015 Charlie was injured during training and could not play many games due to his condition. Later the Los Angeles Dodgers signed a contract for minor leagues with him. Charlie gained the National League West Division title in 2016, consecutively for the fourth time after winning the home game of the season for the Dodgers. He made the home run against Boone Logan, the Rockies pitcher.

In 2017, Charlie Culberson was traded to the Atlanta Braves and played their 2018 season as a star baseball player. He was very successful this season as a pinch hitter and a pitcher. During this season, he gained the nickname 'Charlie Clutch.'

In 2020, Charlie signed a contract with the Texas Rangers, a minor league deal. He played more than 90 games, and Culberson hit five home runs and batted to a score of .243/.296/.381/.676. His career is still soaring to new heights batting with the Texas Rangers.
