Christine Weston 'Chris' Chandler, or just Chris Chan, is popularly an American YouTuber.

Chris Chan is also a vlogger, artist, singer, and cult leader best known for producing the Sonichu comics. Her YouTube channel is CwcvilleGuardian.

In 1999, Chris Chan uploaded Sonichu comics to a personal website, marking her online career's start. Her webcomic 'Sonichu' was released on March 24, 2005. In 2007, she launched her first YouTube account. Shortly after, she became a well-known target for trolls because of her cartoons and private life. Due to her conduct both online and off, Christine has been referred to on the internet as one of the most documented people in the world. After coming out as transgender in August 2014, she underwent a second name change to Christine Chandler in May 2016.

On February 24, 1982, in Charlottesville, Virginia, Christopher Weston Chandler was born to parents Robert Chandler Jr. and Barbara Ann Weston. Robert Chandler was a Western Electric and then General Electric electrical engineer. At the same time, Barbara worked as a secretary for Virginia Power (now Dominion Energy) in the financial department. Not much information is available about Chris Chan's siblings.

Chris Chan didn't speak until she went to James Madison University for speech therapy when she was seven years old. Chris Chan was diagnosed with high-functioning autism at the time, and experts predicted that she would never graduate from high school, much less be able to write her name. However, at age seven, she was finally able to speak and started her formal education subsequently.

Chris Chan first joined Greene County Primary School in August/September 1987. In fourth grade, she was transferred to Nathanael Greene Elementary, which she attended between 1991 to 1992. Since fifth grade, she has been homeschooled. In December 1993, when she was nearly 12, Christopher's name was legally changed to Christian Chandler.

The family relocated to Chesterfield County in September 1993. Until her graduation in the late spring of 1996, Chris Chan attended Providence Middle School in Richmond. In September 1996, a few months later, Chris Chan started attending Manchester High School in Midlothian. She spent her high school years taking two years of Spanish and working four years as a water girl for the Manchester High Lancers varsity basketball team. Chris Chan earned her diploma in June 2000 before going to college. She initially pursued marketing at Piedmont, Virginia Community College in Charlottesville. Chris Chan was expelled from the college for a solicitation offense, but she eventually returned to college and earned an associate's degree in computer-aided drafting and design in 2006.

In a graphic design class on March 17, 2000, Chris Chan produced the comic book series Sonichu; she merged elements from both Sonic and Pikachu characters to make a whole new character. On March 24, 2005, the first Sonichu comic book was published. Additionally, Chris Chan formed a virtual band named 'Christian and the Hedgehog Boys' with members that were Sonichu series characters. In 2003 and 2009, two albums titled 'Christian & the Hedgehog Boys' and 'Christian & the Hedgehog Boys COMEBACK!' were made available. 

Sonichu, Chris' first YouTube account, was made on May 8, 2007. Fanart and her news appearances made up the bulk of the channel. On September 11, 2008, Chris Chan removed the channel after Encyclopedia Dramatica trolls allegedly hacked it. Chris Chan's second YouTube channel was named ClydeGreggCashMays, created on October 26, 2009. There were only four videos released, three of which poked fun at Clyde Cash the troll and one of which was an apology for making jokes about 9/11.

The first websites to take notice of Chris Chan were 4Chan and Something Awful. In 2007, Encyclopedia Dramatica would eventually create a page ridiculing Chris Chan, and she started leaking personal information about herself there. Numerous fans started compiling Chris' videos and messages onto a fan-made website called the CWCki due to their growing fascination with her. Chris Chan has received internet mockery for her artwork, opinions on women, homophobia, laziness, delusions, and narcissism.

Chris Chan was supposedly chosen to appear as Grease in the adult swim cartoon 'Smiling Friends'. Chris Chan, unfortunately, did not make it because the cartoon was canceled for budgetary reasons.

  • Chris Chan's wives were disclosed to be fictitious. Chris Chan was brainwashed into believing she has a wife and got married in March 2018. It was an attempt to prank her.
  • A viral tweet on Twitter claims Chris Chan has been missing from jail. This news has been confirmed and could very well be a rumor.
  • Chris Chan asserts that she is a Cherokee ancestor and descendant of the English monarch Anne Boleyn. She underwent a DNA test. It showed that she has 100% European ancestry, specifically British, Irish, French, and German lineage. There was no trace of Cherokee ancestry in the results.
  • Around 2018, Chris Chan began to refer to herself as Goddess Blueheart and began to believe that she was a goddess. CWCans, also called Chris Chan Sonichu's Devotees, are supposedly her adherents. However, considering that most cult members are viewed as trolls, it's unclear how many people believe the YouTuber.
