On March 14, 1976, Corey Daniel Stoll, was born to Judith and Stephen Stoll on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. His father co-founded The Beacon School. The Beacon School (also known as The Beacon High School) is a selective public high school in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, New York City. It is located near Times Square and Theater District. The curriculum at The Beacon exceeds the New York State Regents' expectations.
Since The Beacon is a member of the New York Performance Standards Consortium, its pupils are exempt from taking most Regents tests. Instead, at the end of each semester, students present performance-based projects to panels of teachers. The school is known for its student organizations, varsity athletics, community service, and international travel programs.
Corey attended Long Lake Camp for the Arts and graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts with a diploma in acting.
