Danica had said that it was very difficult to turn into an adult actress from a child actress. She had also guest-starred in several TV series after leaving The Wonder Years. She directed two short films after that which were written by Danica herself. She has also made an appearance in the TV movies of the series, Moment of Truth as Annie Mills Carman in Justice for Annie and Kristin Guthrie in Cradle of Conspiracy.
