About Eliza Dushku

Eliza Dushku, a former child star and now an accomplished American actress, was born in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Dushku's father, Philip Richard George, was a local school administrator and teacher, while her mother, Judy Dushku, was a professor of political science.
Her parents separated before she was born. She graduated from Watertown High School, Massachusetts but had also gone to Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Dushku was the youngest of four children and the only daughter in her family.
Eliza Dushku was a child star, appearing in movies such as 'True Lies' and as an adult as her character Faith in the hit show 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer.' Dushku has had a successful career as an American actress and has lived in Los Angeles as a resident of the Laurel Canyon area for several years.
Dushku and her brother Nate launched a production company together, Boston Diva Productions, in 2007. They soon bought the rights to produce a film on the life of photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, and the film was under development for over a decade before finally being released in 2018.
After an invitation from Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Dushku decided to explore her father's home city and his family in Albania in 2006. She also visited Kosovo and decided on getting an Albanian Eagle tattoo. She visited Albania for the second time in 2011 and eventually applied for Albanian citizenship, obtaining an Albanian passport and ID Card.
Dushku was made an honorary citizen of Tirana and designated Tirana Ambassador of Culture and Tourism in the World (an honorary title) by the Mayor. She was also given honorary citizen status in Korce, her father's hometown. Later, she and her brother Nate produced a documentary film about visiting Albania, ‘Dear Albania.’

Eliza Dushku was born in Watertown, Massachusetts, where she attended Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and later graduated in 1998 from Watertown High School.
When Dushku was still in elementary school, she started appearing in films. Her first work was in the film 'That Night.' The film's Casting Agents chose her as the lead after a five-month search, and she kept working in films throughout high school, playing supporting characters in films like 'Bye Bye Love' and 'This Boy's Life.'
Dushku's mother was a Professor at Suffolk University in Boston, and she had plans to attend it after high school. However, her Agent asked her for a videotape audition for a show starring Sarah Michelle Gellar (another one of his clients). The show was 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer,' and she was selected while she was still in high school.
Since Dushku was still a minor when she began to work in the show, she had to claim emancipation to work. Dushku later completed her high school and returned to the show once again. In 1994, she got instantly famous for her role as the rebellious teenage daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in 'True Lies.' Eliza Dushku, in 2000 took up another role, which went to become an iconic character, in the cheer-leading film ‘Bring It On.’
