After retiring from his boxing career in 1977, George Foreman took up preaching. He traveled around the country giving speeches and sermons until 1987, when he decided to return to boxing. In 1991, he once again became World Champion by defeating Evander Holyfield. However, he lost the title later that year, in what many consider one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. However, he won the fight against Pedro Agosto in Florida, but lost to Jimmy Young in Puerto Rico. Foreman then retired for good and has since become a successful businessman.

By 17 years old, George had won two Golden Gloves titles and went on to compete as an amateur boxer for several more years before turning professional in 1969 when he was 20 years old.

George Foreman is most known for his comeback victory over Michael Moorer in 1994, as he stayed away from the boxing ring and came back to win over Michael Moorer when he was 45 years old. This made him the oldest champion ever.
