Ichiro Suzuki is a well-known professional Japanese former baseball player who was born on October 22, 1973.
Suzuki is a famous baseball outfielder who has played in major baseball leagues like NPB ( Nippon Professional Baseball) and MLB (Major League Baseball), both in Japan and the USA. He began his career by playing for Orix Bluewave of NPB in Japan. In his second career game, he recorded his first-ever ichi-gun hit against Keiji Kimura.
Later on, Ichiro Suzuki also participated in the famous US baseball league MLB and spent most of his career playing for the Seattle Mariners. He also spent a few seasons in Major League Baseball playing for the  New York Yankees and the Miami Marlins. However, in 2018 he returned to the Mariners again.
Ichiro Suzuki has played for a number of teams throughout his career. His first team was Orix BlueWave. He started playing for them in 1992 and stayed with them until 2000. His second team was the Seattle Mariners. Suzuki joined them the very next year after leaving Orix BlueWave in 2001 and played for over a decade with them until 2012.
Suzuki's third team was the New York Yankees, which he joined the same year after quitting the Seattle Mariners in 2012. Suzuki played for the New York Yankees for a short period of two years and left the team in 2014. The Miami Marlins was the fourth team Ichiro Suzuki joined in 2015 and once again, he played for them for two years before he left in 2017. The following year, in 2018, Suzuki rejoined the Seattle Mariners and played for Seattle Mariners until 2019.
In the 2001 season, he was the leader in terms of batting average and stolen bases for the American League. For this, he was named the MVP in 2001 along with being given the title of American League rookie.
