Karla Mosley joined the American version of the Australian children's TV show 'Hi-5' in 2003, while still in college, and became the group's youngest member. 'Body Move' was her feature, in which she led viewers through stretching, exercise, and amusing dancing.

She was usually the group's transitional member, performing her sketches in between the acts of the other cast members. On the show, she also gave the voice of Chatterbox. Charli Robinson, Lauren Brant, Mary Lascaris, and Bailey Spalding, who were also the youngest members of 'Hi-5', were her American counterparts. Mosley left the cast in 2006 to explore other opportunities.

Karla Mosley joined the set of CBS's daytime drama 'The Bold And The Beautiful' in 2013, portraying ex-con turned actress Maya Avant. She and her 'The Bold And The Beautiful' co-star Lawrence Saint-Victor finished a web series called 'Room 8'. The series was part of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' narrative.

In the series 'The Bold And The Beautiful', her character married Rick Forrester, who was played by Jacob Young.

Mosley coordinated a benefit concert by 'Hi-5' after Hurricane Katrina to collect money for Hurricane Katrina victims. During the 2008 presidential campaign, she co-produced and performed in the 'Broadway for Obama' charity event. She also played in a New America concert for marriage equality on Broadway and a rally for marriage equality in Western Queens.
