Lance Reddick is also known for playing Phillip Broyles in the tv series 'Fringe' (2008-2013), Charon in the 'John Wick' franchise, Detective Johnny Basil in 'Oz', Matthew Abaddon in the TV series 'Lost' (2004-2010), and Guillermin in 2021 film 'Godzilla vs Kong'. He did his schooling at Friends School of Baltimore, Maryland. Then he went on to study music and composition at the Peabody Preparatory Institute and the Walden School. After graduating, he enrolled at Eastman School of Music under the University of Rochester to study classical music composition and earned a bachelor's degree in music. He also attended a summer program where he learned about music theory and composition. Later, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts in the '80s, and in the early '90s, he started his classes at Yale School of Drama, where Lance graduated with a degree in master of fine arts in 1994.
