Here, she co-starred with Josie Bissett. Her role in 'Melrose Place' was initially only intended for two episodes in Season 1, but it evolved into a full-time role for seasons two through five that went on from 1993-1997.

On December 7, 2009, ABC Family revealed that Ashley Marin, Hannah Marin's mother, had been cast as the series' main character and that Laura Leighton would play her character.
