Aida Garifullina gained massive popularity and respect in her field when she received first prize in 2013 in Placido Domingo’s Operalia International Competition. The reason behind her winning the award was her mother. She privately submitted the last form for the competition. She worked hard with the help of her vocal coach.
She also won the Chaliapin Voice of the Year, ECHO Klassic Award for Solo Recording and is an honored artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.
