Alan Ball also created, wrote, and produced the HBO drama shows 'Six Feet Under' and 'True Blood'. True Blood's first five seasons were directed by Ball.

In 2010, Alan Ball began work on 'All Signs of Death', a television version of Charlie Huston's execution noir novel 'The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death'.
