Alex Cordaz is a leading football player from Italy who went on to play for some of the leading clubs in Italy during his career. He has created an impressive fan following based on his skills as a goalkeeper. Cordaz began his professional career at Inter Milan. He was a consistent pick ahead of Mathieu Moreau for the first choice at Primavera Squad (U20 team) in the 2001–02 season, when he won the title.

Alex Cordaz returned to Inter as the third goalkeeper for the first team in the summer of 2003, while his former competitor Moreau was transferred to Spezia. Alex Cordaz made his first team debut in February 2004 against Juventus in an important Copa Italia match that went down to the wire and ended in a 2-2 draw.

Spezia of Serie C1 then signed Alex Cordaz in January 2005.
