Some of his remixes are The Rolling Stones' song, 'Living In A Ghost Town' and 'Astronaut In The Ocean' by Masked Wolf. From 2002 to 2006, he produced three albums and many singles.
Alok has founded the Alok Institute, an organization that works for human and environmental development. He has donated $5.2 million to this institute that helps women and young people. He has also helped to build schools and hospitals in Mozambique.
In 2019, Alok won the International Dance Music Awards for the song 'Piece of Your Heart' in the Best Remix category. He also won the Prêmio Jovem Brasileiro for the Best DJ in the same year. In 2014 and 2015, he won the House Mag award for the Best DJ in Brazil. In 2016, he was ranked among the top 25 DJs in the world by DJ Magazine.
