The multitalented Arliss Howard hails from Independence, Missouri.
Leslie Richard Howard moved on from Truman High School and Columbia College in Missouri, after which he joined theater. Howard received formal training in acting at the esteemed Actors Studio in New York.
He is the child of Richard Howard and Barbara (Peavy). Arliss Howard is the older sibling of Jim Howard, a screenwriter, writer, artist, and PC game maker. He has two other siblings: a sister Joy Howard and a brother sibling Kip Howard.
