Rollins won the 100-m dash, the 60-m hurdles, and the NCAA Championship, all while competing for Clemson, and was a three-time NCAA champion. She turned professional after setting a new record for the 100-m hurdles at the NCAA Championships in 2013, when she also broke the NCAA record.

Rollins needed to compete in the 100-m hurdles to qualify for the Olympic team in 2012, but he could only manage a sixth-place finish with a timing of 12.94.

Rollins' run of 12.60 (+4.5) seconds earned her the first spot in the 100-m hurdles competition at the 2012 NACAC Under-23 Championships.
