Carol Duvall is the longtime host of the eponymous art and craft television show 'The Carol Duvall Show'. The show aired on the HGTV cable channel from 1994-2005.

Then it shifted to the DIY Network and was broadcast there from 2005-2009. In 1951, she made her television debut on a children's program in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She and her friend decided to audition when a local radio station purchased a television station. Carol Duvall was hired and she was hosting seventeen live shows a week by the end of the first year.

Carol Duvall was the host and co-producer of the an-hour-long morning show in Detroit. She once got a call from a man she had known in Cleveland when he was still an intern, and he was looking for a craftsperson for a new show he was putting together. The show was called 'Home' and after being taken up by ABC, the program ran for six years.

Robb Weller, the host of the show, developed 'The Carol Duvall Show' along with Gary Grossman after forming a production company together after 'Home' ended in 1994. Carol Duvall teaches innovative craft techniques ranging from rubber stamping to jewelry making to scrapbooking. Carol Duvall’s first craft book called 'Wanna Make Something Out of It?' was published in 1972. Her latest book was published in 2007, called 'Paper Crafting with Carol Duvall'.

She is best known for her eponymous television show that continued for over a decade on the DIY Network and HGTV. The show ran for over 1300 episodes.
