Charles Allen White Jr. is an American former competitive figure skater.
His partner is Meryl Davis. They teamed up in 1997.
Currently, they are the longest-lasting dance team in the United States. The first American ice dancers to win the World title, as well as the first Americans to win the Olympic title were White and Davis. They also became the first ice dancing team to receive level fours on all their elements at the 2006 NHK Trophy. Charles Allen with partner Meryl Davis has won the 2014 Olympics.

Charlie White used to split his focus between playing the violin and playing hockey throughout his school years. He began skating at age five. In the beginning, he used to compete as both a single skater and an ice dancer. He won the bronze medal at the 2004 US Championships as a single ice skater on the Novice level and competed internationally on the junior level. But later on, he quit skating singles following the 2005–2006 season. He started focusing on ice dancing.
At the age of seven, Charlie White began ice dancing at his coach's advice. He partnered with Meryl Davis in 1997, it was done by Seth Chafetz. In their first season only they won the silver medal at the Junior Olympics in the Juvenile division. Then in 1999, they also won gold at the Junior Olympics on the intermediate level.
They have won numerous ice dancing competitions together as Junior competitors. In 2006 they moved to the Senior competition 2006. They did well for three years. But at the beginning of 2009, they hit their stride. They have won Gold at the US National Championships from 2009-2014, Gold at the Grand Prix Final from 2009-2014, Gold at the Four Continents Championships in 2009, 2011, and 2013, Gold at the World Championships in 2011 and 2013, and Silver at the 2010 Olympics, and Gold at the 2014 Olympics.
Charlie White along with Maryl Davis has supported many charities like- the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and The Humane Society.
Charlie White has won many awards, but most importantly he has won a silver medal at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and along with Davis he also became the first American to win ice-dancing gold at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
The figure skater loves ice hockey. The royal oak native star also loves the Detroit Redwings. Charlie White also plays the violin.
