The plot of this series is about Bill Green and his two children shifting to his mother's farm when things went astray. Chris also gave voice to Bill Green's 10-year-old son, Cricket Green.
Chris is best known for creating the animated TV series 'Big City Greens' with his brother Shane Houghton and voicing in the same for the character Cricket Green. The 'Big City Greens' series was nominated for the Annie Awards twice under voice acting and storyboarding and for Daytime Emmy Award for individual achievement in animation.
In 2013, Chris Houghton, with the other cast crew of 'Gravity Falls', was animated by the second annual PAAFTJ Television Awards under Best Artistic/Visual Achievement in an Animated Series. While at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Chris won the 2009 Jay Kennedy Memorial Scholarship from the National Cartoonist Society Foundation (NCSF).
