He played a role in the popular American sitcom, 'The Office' which is considered to be a major breakthrough in his career. Apart from that, Craig's role as Doug Judy in the pop culture sitcom, 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' made him an all-time favorite character of the series.

Craig Phillip Robinson was born on October 25, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois. He was born in a music loving family, his mother being a music teacher. Growing up in his house felt like growing up in a rehearsal studio, as their house was packed with all kinds of musical instruments including drums, trumpet, saxophone, and so on. Craig's brother, Christopher (popularly known as Chris Rob) pursued music as his career and is currently a member of The Nasty Delicious.

Craig got a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Music. Amidst his college classes, Craig became passionate about the improv classes at The Second City and started doing stand-up comedy.
