Darren started his career as a center-back in defense and played over 100 league matches for Torquay United before leaving in 1995. Darren has played for Torquay United, Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City, Portsmouth, West Bromwich Albion, Derby County, Barnsley, and Burton Albion throughout his club career.
