Darren started his career as a center-back in defense and played over 100 league matches for Torquay United before leaving in 1995. Darren has played for Torquay United, Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City, Portsmouth, West Bromwich Albion, Derby County, Barnsley, and Burton Albion throughout his club career.

In addition to his professional career, Moore has also earned two international caps, representing Jamaica in the FIFA World Cup. After retiring, he returned to his old club, West Bromwich Albion, and became the first Jamaican manager in the Premier League. He had a successful managerial career, winning Premier League Manager of the Month in April 2018 and EFL Championship Manager of the Month in September 2018. He is now Sheffield Wednesday's manager.
