David Crowder took it upon himself to engage more young generations to praise and worship. He was joined by Jack Parker (Guitarist), Jason Solley (Guitarist), Jeremy Bush (Drummer), Mike Dodson (Bassist), and Mike Hogan (Electronic Violinist). They formed a group called the David Crowder band. They released several albums like Illuminate, the Lime CD, Sunsets & Sushi, A Collision, B Collision, Remedy, Church Music, and A Requiem Mass in C was David Crowd’s Band’s last album.

David Crowder’s father is Daniel Wallace Crowder, and his mother is Marian Elizabeth Crowder. They both were great devotees of their faith. This had quite an impact on his personal life. His mother made him take piano lessons and he initially hated it as other children used to play outside while he was attending his lessons. But he grew a knack for it soon. He went to Baylor University, Waco, Texas to study piano. He noticed that it was a Christian College, and despite it, the number of students not visiting the church was surprising. So, he started writing worship songs and he was later joined by a group of people when he formed the David Crowder band for the same purpose which he was the lead vocalist.
