He also led several social media campaigns. He was among the 20 founding members of this association. Hogg also pointed to the National Rifle Association and politicians who take donations which ultimately result in such shooting incidents.
Hogg also voiced boycotting spring break in Florida if the Florida State Government did not pass the gun control legislation. He even campaigned against all the politicians who supported gun reform. He also started a campaign for boycotting companies who advertise during The Ingraham Angle. Even though Ingraham apologized, Hogg did not accept the apology.
In 2018, he voiced the whole incident on 'The Dr. Phil Show' along with her sister, Lauren Hogg. In Los Angeles, he also met the survivors of the Columbine High School Massacre. He also declined former President Donald Trump's invitation to meet him at the White House.
In 2018, he was featured in Time's April edition. He was featured on the cover alongside Jaclyn Corin, Emma Gonzalez, Cameron Kasky, and Alex Wind. David Hogg is in strong favor of the Second Amendment which gives the National Rifle Association members the right to own arms legally.
