After succeeding Alexander Wang in 2015, Demna Gvasalia became the creative director of Balenciaga.
He left Vetements in 2019 to find new artistic ventures.
He collaborated with Kanye West in August 2021. He even was the creative director of the second Donda album's listening event. It was located in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City's Met Gala of 2021, he walked the stairs with Kim Kardashian. In the 2021 Met Gala, both were seen in head-to-toe body feature obscuring Black Balenciaga designs which were completely masked.
He was the founder of Vetements, and he became the creative director of Balenciaga.
He even walked the 2021 Met Gala with Kim Kardashian.
As the creative director of Balenciaga, the company made a generous donation to the United Nations World Food Programme.
Gvasalia was awarded the International Award for Balenciaga and Vetements at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards. At the Fashion Awards 2018, he won the Accessories Designer of the Year award. And the designer won the Global Women's Designer award at the 2021 CFDA Fashion Awards.
