Ed Gilbert gained fame as Fenton Hardy on 'The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries' television series in the ’70s. He provided the voices for several characters, including Superion. It was originally voiced by Frank Welker. He also voiced 'Blitzwing' and 'Thrust' in the second and third seasons of 'The Transformers'.
