In 1958, Eric Fleming left the Broadway shows and moved to Hollywood, where he starred in various low-end movies such as ‘Curse Of The Undead’, ‘Fright’, and the Sci-fi/Cult film ‘Queen Of Outer Space’.
In 1958, he finally got the lead role in the CBS western series 'Rawhide' as Gil's favor. Eric was cast for almost seven to eight seasons of 'Rawhide', In the tragic year of 1966, he appeared in the TV series 'Bonanza' for the episode of 'The Pursued' and 'Peace'. He was shooting for the two-part adventure program 'High Jungle'. There, he met his fate as he accidentally got drowned in the Huallaga River. He also appeared in the 'Glass Bottom Boat' as Suave Spy, for which he got very famous.
