Fallon Fox had to start from zero and fight off every social stigma, discrimination, societal judgment, and so much else thrown her way. Fallon Fox was an assigned male at birth and has always struggled with her sexuality and identity from age five to six. She was not aware of the LGBT community at such a tender age.
As Fallon Fox stepped into her teenage years, she started questioning her sexuality and thought of herself to be gay. At the age of 17, Fallon Fox finally learned of the term transgender.
After dropping from college, she became a truck driver to earn money. Fallon Fox then had to join the US Navy to support her family. After finishing her enlistment, she joined the University of Toledo, Ohio, but quit after the mental stress from her unresolved sexual identity became too much to handle. Afterward, she began her journey to give light to her proper identity. After going through SRS in Thailand, Fallon Fox came out to the world as a transgender woman in an interview with Sports Illustrated and started her career as an MMA fighter. She is the first transgender athlete in MMA history.
Fallon Fox was inducted into the National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.
