He traveled with Fresh Kid Ice and appeared on the latter's album. In 2000, Flo Rida signed with Hot Boyz and Poe Boy, and in 2004, he began collaborating with prominent southern hip hop artists like Rick Ross, Trina, T-Pain, and Trick Daddy for Cash Money Records.
