Frank White is known as an American baseball player, famous for playing for the Kansas City Royals for 18 years.

In his professional baseball career, Frank White was associated with the Kansas City Royals until he retired in 1995. He played alongside the Hall of Fame third baseman, George Brett.

Frank White and George Brett have played nearly 1914 games in the major league. Frank White began his professional baseball career at Longview Community College, where he continued rising in the Minor League Baseball ranks. At Longview Community College, Frank White was a player for the Class AAA Omaha Royals (1973), the Class AA Jacksonville Suns (1972), the Class A San Jose Bees (1972), and the Gulf Coast League Royals (1971).

Frank White joined the big leagues in 1973, but the Kansas City fans initially disliked him. The primary reason for this is because he replaced Cookie Rojas at second base. However, as a smooth fielder, Frank White soon became a five-time All-Star. In the 1985 World Series, Frank White hit cleanup in place of Hal McRae.

In addition, he was an excellent offensive player. From 1985 to 1986, Frank White hit 22 home runs in a row. In the subsequent World Series, he played without a designated hitter. 

Frank White retired from baseball in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, Frank White was the first base coach for the Boston Red Sox. Frank White is best known for his performance in Kansas City when he won the well-known Gold Glove Award for six seasons, about eight times from 1977-1982. The eight gold glove awards he won helped him achieve a position in the Missouri Sports Hall. In 1977, White played 62 errorless games. This was his career best. Frank White played spectacularly in the MLB. His opponent was the New York Yankees, but he ultimately guided the Royals to their very first appearance in the World Series.

During his major league career with the Royals, he became the best offensive player, and he even played without a hitter for the World Series. Before White, Jackie Robinson was the only player to hit cleanup for an intense World Series. The Major League Baseball All-Star Game of 1986 was one of the most memorable for fans of Frank While. In this game, he hit a solo home run, which turned out to be a turning point. This seventh-off Mike Scott home run led to a 3–2 victory for them in the American League.
