Hande started as an editor and a TV host after attending Ankara University, which led her to pursue acting professionally after securing her first role in a chocolate advertisement. Since then, she has appeared in numerous feature films and TV series in her decade-spanning career.

She is widely known for her role as Zeynep Yılmaz Sayer on Kanal D drama series 'Güneşi Beklerken' or 'Waiting For The Sun'. She is also well received in the surreal comedy show 'Leyla Ile Mecnun' as Şans, and as Elem in the drama series 'Şubat'.
In 2015, she made her first film debut in 'Bana Masal Anlatma' (Telling Tales) as Ayperi opposite Fatih Artman, directed by Burak Aksak. She has six movies to her credit, her latest being 'Daha İyi Bir Yarın', which was released in 2021.
The Turkish actress is an advocate for women's and children's rights and is involved with schools in the Subatan and Soylu villages of Kars, Turkey.
She has won the Ege University Media Awards and Ayaklı Gazete TV Awards in 2013 in the Best Actress category.
Hande loves gardening and spending quality time with her family and friends. She has a poodle called Ginger, with whom she often poses on her Instagram page with followers of more than two million and counting.
She loves to read, ski, and listen to music and often travels to distant places with her camera whenever she gets time off from her acting job.
