English musician Ian Hill is a proud member of this band. He is mainly remembered as the mainstay and the bassist for this British music band.
The passion for double bass came from Hill's father, who himself was a bass player at local jazz performances in England. Together with school friend K. K. Downing, Ian Hill formed their band, the Judas Priest, in 1970. Ever since, Hill has been active as the band's bassist and is the only member of the original band to continue playing. Hill also brought along Rob Halford as a singer to join the band.
