James Geoffrey Franklin is an American college football coach, and the current Head Coach at Penn State, one of America's most prestigious universities.
Franklin has had a very long and illustrious career and has coached many college teams as well as NFL (National Football League) teams, famously the Green Bay Packers, before being offered the Head Coach position at Penn State. He spent his high-school years at Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, before going on to attend the East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he flourished as a quarterback, playing for all four years. During his time there, he broke seven college records, and then after graduating in 1995 immediately stayed on to train as a coach.
He has a Bachelor's degree in psychology, as well as a master's degree in educational leadership from Washington States University.
