Jiddu Krishnamurti was born on May 11, 1895, in Madanpalle in Madras Presidency, which was then under British India. It went on to be named Madanapalle and is a small town situated in Andra Pradesh in India. Sadly, the philosopher passed away in Ojai, California. He was 90 years at the time of death.

Jiddu Krishnamurty was born in modern-day Chittoor in Andra Pradesh, South India, to Jiddu Narayanaiah and Sanjeevamma. Jiddu's mother passed away when he was just 10 years old. His father used to work for the British colonial administration, and they were from a Brahmin Telegu family. Jiddu Krishnamurti and his brother were very close and dependent on each other, which increased even more when their father lost custody of both the sons to his surrogate and adoptive mother, Annie Besant. When his brother Nitya died at a considerably young age, Jiddu Krishnamurty was devastated and went on to renounce the theosophical teachings.

Jiddu Krishnamurti was at one point groomed to be the next World Teacher. However, he decided not to advance through this position and went on to reject this mantle. His interests were in the fields of psychological technique, human relationships, human beings, and even radical change around us. In one of his most famous talks, he talks about how truth is a pathless land and people can only approach it by any path of religion or sect and more. This is one of his most famous speeches.

Jiddu Krishnamurti, however, dissociated from the Theosophical Society and renounced the teachings. He was known to refer to his work as teachings and not his own teachings.

Jiddu Krishnamurti also went to the United Nations, which was held in New York, and gave a speech there in Pacem, which was located in Terris Society.

His house in Madanapalle is now made into a study center. Most of his video recordings can be found in the online library made for his teachings. Jiddu Krishnamurti has given quite a bit of public talk and even tried to spread humanity among people. He asked people to change themselves through self-knowledge and to be aware of all subtleties of life. He wanted people to have an intellectual analysis or even an introspective dissection. In his talk about the pathless land, Jiddu Krishnamurti said that only through one's own mind can one find truth through the mirror of a relationship.

Charity Work

Jiddu Krishnamurti founded the Krishnamurti foundation, which runs six schools situated both abroad and in India. It was founded by the philosopher Annie Besant in 1928. The aim of this trust is to spread his teachings with educational aims, which include a concern for the person and the environment, the religious spirit, and also includes scientific temper.
