Joey Bosa started his career in 2013 as a freshman. He is the player who scored 44 tackles and 7.5 sacks in his freshman year. Both Sporting News and College Football News named him an All-American freshman. He is graded as 10 Defensive Player Of The Year for scoring 13.5 sacks on 55 tackles in his sophomore year. Bosa completed five sacks and 47 tackles in his junior year. By 44–28, Ohio State earned the bowl game, with Bosa booted out in the first quarter in a targeting penalty for making a quarterback hit on Deshone Kizer.
