Jordyn Wieber is named as the senior coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks' gymnastics team. She won the gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics with the United States Women's Gymnastics team, known as the Fierce Five.

She beat Vega, Ross, and Anna Rodionova to win the all-around competition with a score of 59.550. In the irregular bars and floor exercises, she earned a gold medal, but in the vault competition, she came in second place to her future coworker Kyla Ross. She placed fourth on the balancing beam.
In March 2011 during the American Cup in Jacksonville, Florida, Wieber played in her maiden senior elite competition in place of an injured player. She bagged the competition by scoring 59.899 points.
