Kelly Hyland was born Kelly Kuhn, on May 16, 1971, in the state of Pennsylvania, USA.
At the age of two years, Kelly fell in love with the world of dancing and began taking dance classes at the famed Maryen Lorrain Miller dance studio. She received training from the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC), under the tutelage of celebrated dance trainer and choreographer Abby Lee Miller.
At the age of 14, Kelly quit dancing momentarily to follow her dream of being a cheerleader. However, the talented dancer rose to prominence when she accompanied her kids Brooke and Paige Hyland to the popular dance show 'Dance Moms'. She was applauded for unequivocally supporting her kid's choices and allowing Brooke Hyland the freedom to choose her career.
Kelly is also known across the social media universe for her popular podcasts with former 'Dance Moms' co-stars Melissa Ziegler, Jill Vertes, and Holy Hatcher-Frazier.
