Kobe Paras is a famous basketball player from the Philippines who made his professional basketball debut with Niigata Albirex BB. Paras represented the Philippines in the 2017 FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Nantes, France, in June 2017 after finishing his freshman season.

Kobe Paras has played for the Cathedral High School Phantoms (2013-2014), UCLA Bruins (2015), Creighton University Bluejays (2016), University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons (2018-2021), and Niigata Albirex (2021-present).

Kobe Paras played college and professional basketball. He attended Cathedral High School, Los Angeles, and played in the shooting guard position for the Cathedral Phantoms. He played in the Phantoms' shooting guard position from 2013-2014, leading them to the Regional Championship Game. The team finished No.1 in Division 3A of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) game.

Before the Phantoms, Paras attended Las Salle Greenhills, where he played institutional basketball. In 2015, Kobe Paras entered the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He played for the UCLA Bruins, where he signed a National Letter Of Intent to get trained under coach Steve Alford.

In 2016, Paras left UCLA Bruins and joined Creighton University. He became the first Filipino basketball player to join the Creighton University Bluejays. Before signing with the Bluejays, eighty Division I schools expressed their interest in signing Paras.

On May 9, 2017, Kobe Paras announced that he was verbally committed to playing for Cal State Northridge's basketball team, the Matadors, under coach Reggie Theus. Unfortunately, Paras never played for the Matadors due to NCAA transfer rules and his decision to leave Cal State to pursue a professional basketball career.

On July 10, 2018, Kobe Paras announced that he had joined the University of the Philippines' Fighting Maroons. He played for the Fighting Maroons from 2018-2021.

In April 2021, Paras left the Fighting Maroons and moved to the USA for better basketball opportunities. Eventually, on September 5, 2002, he signed his professional basketball debut with Niigata Albirex. Paras made his debut with 25 record points, four assists, and two steals.
