On June 5, just after midnight, he addressed his supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. He was critically stabbed by a Palestinian immigrant named Sirhan Bishara Sirhan while exiting through a kitchen hallway. Kennedy was interred in Arlington National Cemetery next to his brother John.
